Description
Arduino Yún Rev 2 is a Microcontroller Board based on the Microchip Technology ATmega32U4 8-bit Microcontroller and the Qualcomm Atheros AR9331 Processor. The Atheros Processor supports a Linux distribution based on OpenWrt named LininoOS. The board has built-in 802.3 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet and Wi-Fi® 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz, making it ideal for connected IoT (Internet of Things) applications. Connection to a Wi-Fi or wired network is simple thanks to the YÚN Web Panel and the dedicated ''YunFirstConfig'' sketch. Using the Yún Web Panel it is also possible to configure all the shield-related features and remotely upload sketches on the board connected to the shield. The Yún Rev 2 uses the Bridge library, extending the functionalities of the Microprocessor by using the computational power of the Linux processor on the board.
The Yún Rev 2 offers a space saving hoizontal Micro USB port and full USB 2.0 host, and a low-profile Ethernet 10/100 RJ45 port, designed to avoid potential short circuits when used with shields. Additional features include a microSD card slot, 20 digital input/output pins (7 of which can be used as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs), a 16MHz crystal oscillator, an ICSP header, 4 on-board status LEDs, and 3 reset buttons.
The hardware, software, and documentation of the Yún Rev 2 is freely available and open-source. This means that developers can learn exactly how it's made and use its design as the starting point for their own projects.
Note: This is 100% Original ARDUINO board.
AVR Microcontroller: ATmega32u4
Linux Microprocessor: Atheros AR9331
1 x Arduino Yún Rev 2 (Orginal Arduino-Italy)
